Responsible Gambling at 1winn
For 1winn, healthy gambling means players always stay in control. This page explains the self-control tools, early warning signs, and support resources available to all players.
Age Limit Enforced
All betting activity on the 1winn platform is restricted to players aged 21 and above only. This is not just a rule — it is a responsibility we take seriously to protect young people from early exposure to gambling.
Online betting at 1winn is designed as entertainment, not as a source of income. We understand that for most players, playing online slots, live casino or sports betting is a way to have fun and challenge the mind. However, we are also aware that some players may find it difficult to control their betting habits.
That is why 1winn provides a range of responsible gambling tools that allow players to set personal limits, take a temporary break, or close their account entirely if needed. Full control is in your hands.
Our responsible gambling policy is built on a simple principle: every player has the right to play in a safe and controlled environment. We do not encourage betting beyond your financial means, and we are committed to helping anyone who needs support.
Player Control Tools
Control Is in Your Hands
1winn provides several self-control mechanisms that you can use at any time through your account or by contacting our support team.
Daily Deposit Limit
Set a daily, weekly or monthly deposit limit to keep your betting spending within a comfortable budget. This limit takes effect immediately once it is set.
Play Time Limit
Track how long you play by setting a session time limit. When you are approaching your limit, you will receive a reminder so you can make a more conscious decision.
Temporary Break
If you feel you need a break, use the temporary break feature to stop access to your account for a period of your choice — 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days.
Self-Exclusion
The self-exclusion option allows you to close your account for a longer period. Contact the 1winn support team via live chat or email to activate this feature.
Account Activity Review
Check your betting history, deposits and withdrawals at any time. A clear record helps you assess your playing habits objectively.
24/7 Live Support
The 1winn customer support team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in Bahasa Melayu and English via live chat and email for any concerns related to responsible gambling.
Practical Guide
Tips for Healthy Play
Smart players take time to understand how to play in a more controlled way. Here are the practices we recommend to all 1winn players.
- Set a budget before starting a session and stick to that limit without exception, regardless of the game outcome.
- Treat betting as entertainment, not as a way to generate income or solve financial problems.
- Avoid playing when you are stressed, upset or under the influence of alcohol as your judgment may be affected.
- Take regular breaks. Playing for too long in one session can affect your focus and self-control.
- Do not try to "chase" losses by placing larger bets. This is one of the early warning signs to avoid.
- Make sure your daily responsibilities — family, work, finances — are not affected by your betting activity.
- If you find it hard to stop even when you intend to, speak to the 1winn support team or seek professional help.
Early Warning Signs
Recognise the Warning Signs
Be aware of these signs in yourself or someone you care about. Identifying a problem earlier makes the next steps easier.
Chasing Losses
Continuing to play to recover money that has been lost, even as the situation gets worse.
Hiding the Habit
Concealing betting activity from family or friends.
Financial Problems
Borrowing money or using funds meant for basic needs to bet.
Preoccupied Thoughts
Constantly thinking about betting, planning the next session or how to get money to play.
Professional Help
Support Resources Available
If you or someone you know needs support, there are several channels you can reach out to. Seeking help is a sign of courage, not weakness.
The Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM) provides a mental health support line that anyone in need of guidance can contact. Find the latest helpline information through the official KKM website.
There are non-governmental organisations and professional bodies in Malaysia that offer counselling and dedicated support for gambling addiction. Visit the official website of the Department of Social Welfare Malaysia for more information.
To activate self-control tools, set a deposit limit or request self-exclusion, contact our support team via 24/7 live chat or email at [email protected]. We will process your request with full respect and confidentiality.
Protection for Young People
Protect Young People
1winn takes seriously the responsibility of ensuring that young people do not gain access to our betting platform. Every player is required to verify their age during the registration process, and we reserve the right to request verification documents such as identity card (MyKad) at any time.
If you share a device with younger family members, we encourage you to:
- Always log out of your 1winn account after each session.
- Use a strong password and do not share it with anyone.
- Install parental control software on devices used by children.
- Keep your login information secure and out of sight.
If you suspect an underage individual is using your account, contact the 1winn support team immediately via live chat or email. We will take appropriate action to address the situation.
Gambling and Mental Health
It is important to recognise that gambling and mental health are closely linked. Stress, anxiety and depression can lead a person to bet excessively, and conversely — betting excessively can worsen mental health problems.
1winn encourages all players to prioritise their mental and physical health. If you feel that betting activity is beginning to have a negative impact on your daily life, personal relationships or finances, that is the right time to stop and seek help.
Remember: 1winn can be enjoyed responsibly. Our goal is not just to provide a betting platform, but to ensure every player comes away with a positive and controlled experience.
